Simple GNS3 install

The images I currently have available are good for version 2.2.42 only!

I used the GNS3 GIT repository to get the latest downloads.

I download the Windows version and I am requested for an account. I create an account with my university e-mail. I then click on the install guide.

I run the installer which was saved in Downloads.

I go with each of the defaults and click next to install. As different components are installed, I may have to agree with individual licenses.

I run GNS after the install and I get the following prompt. I select to run the appliance on my local computer and press Next.

I continue with defaults, click Next and Finish.

To verify, I click File->New Blank Project and I call my project 16SEP23-01 and click OK. I click the horizonal arrow symbol, that means network switches.

I can drag an Ethernet Switch to the project windows, that's me working!
